1,000 Ties empowers youth and their families in high-poverty communities by teaching essential life skills that foster lifelong success. Through mentorship from community role models, young men ages 8-19 build the confidence to interview, network, and break cycles of generational poverty. By involving and empowering the family members who support these young men, we create a foundation for sustainable growth and shared achievement—beginning with the simple, impactful gesture of tying a tie.

100 Black Men of Greater Charlotte, Inc., (The 100) improves the quality of life for the communities we serve. Mentoring is the core service delivery of The 100, the largest network of African American male mentors in the nation. We influence and transform the lives of underrepresented and disenfranchised youth, with a focus on African American youth.

Through our platform of Mentoring The 100 Way®, across a lifetime, we provide programmatic services in education, health and wellness, economic empowerment, and leadership development, which makes a fundamental difference in the lives of the youth we touch and the communities we serve.

At 100 Black Men Triangle East, our mission is to improve the quality of life within our communities and enhance educational and economic opportunities for all African Americans. We are committed to serving as a beacon of leadership by utilizing our diverse talents to create environments where our youth are motivated to achieve and empowered to become self-sufficient shareholders in the economic and social fabric of their communities.

We are a community faith-based mentoring program dedicated to educating, training, and cultivating young African American men ages 10-18 as they navigate their paths to success.

Big Homie Lil Homie is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization mentoring program that provides guidance and mentors at-risk youth who come from single-parent homes. The organization caters to young males aged 6-16 within the Greater Columbia (SC) Area. The organization is devoted to shaping and molding youth into great men in society. Big Homie Lil Homie organizes male discussions, outings, and educational assistance devoted to guiding and leading youth in a positive light.

The At Promise Academy seeks to address the ongoing challenges young African American male students face in “at-risk communities” by ensuring that students have the well-rounded support and robust set of services they need to excel in their academics and become “At Promise” instead of “At Risk. Our program has Certified Teachers to tutor in the subjects of Math, Language Arts, and Science. We are seeking African American male students in the sixth grade to start our academy.
